Episode #79 – Accommodation & Compliance Etiquette : Teresa McQueen

In today’s episode, Teresa talks about accommodation and compliance etiquette for National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The theme for this year is “America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion.”

Teresa discusses SB639, the recently passed California law. Beginning January 1, 2022, California employers will be prohibited from paying workers with disabilities less than the prevailing minimum wage. She gives tips on recruitment etiquette for conducting interviews and how to prepare. Teresa also talks about her workplace etiquette tips for some specific situations.
